BOSTON, Sept. 14, 2017 — Catalant Technologies, the leading technology platform for on-demand business expertise, announced today that Anitha Gopalan, formerly with cyber security company Rapid7, will join the company as Chief Financial Officer.

“We continue to be pleasantly surprised at the growth, both in scale and complexity, of our business and expect that to continue,” shared Rob Biederman, co-CEO & co-founder of Catalant. “Based on her incredible work at Rapid7, and beforehand, we are confident that we could not have found a better person to manage and optimize that growth.”

Anitha brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in finance and operations and an accomplished track record of success in building strong teams, driving change, and scaling operations to deliver growth, manage risk and drive mission-critical results. She has extensive experience in technology, media and telecommunications industries with entrepreneurial, high-growth pre-IPO and public companies.

Before joining Catalant, Anitha was a Vice President of Finance at Rapid7, a Boston-based cyber security company, where she teamed up with other executives to deliver rapid growth from venture-backed start-up to a successful and oversubscribed IPO. Prior to Rapid7, Anitha was in Silicon Valley where she held financial leadership roles at iPass, and spent nearly a decade in Ernst &Young. Anitha brings high energy and dynamic leadership skills in addition to her success in achieving aggressive growth and global expansion at innovative technology companies.

“It is a remarkable opportunity to join Catalant and its phenomenal team who are committed to building a mission driven organization. We are defining a new category of flexible and dynamic talent access that will revolutionize human capital strategy,” said Anitha Gopalan. “Catalant is accelerating organizations’ ability to solve business problems and I’m looking forward to working with this passionate and dedicated team to deliver our next phase of global growth, scale and operational leverage.”
