Former co-founder and CTO of InsightSquared is newest addition to Catalant’s growing executive team
BOSTON – February 21, 2017 – Catalant, the leading technology platform for business expertise, announced today that it’s continuing to expand its executive team with the hire of Bryan Stevenson as chief information officer (CIO). Stevenson will be responsible for overseeing the company’s engineering team and providing technical leadership that will drive continued product and service innovation.
“Technology is forefront to everything we do,” said Patrick Petitti, co-founder and co-CEO of Catalant. “We are constantly working to provide the very best experience for our customers, and working to ensure our platform is delightful, reliable, and flexible. Bryan is not just a technology leader – he’s an incredible founder and company leader, and he has experience scaling technology platforms and organizations. His addition to the team will allow us to focus our efforts on continued technological innovation to meet the needs of our fast growing customer base.”
Stevenson is deeply rooted in Boston’s technology sector and has spent more than 10 years founding and building his own businesses. Most recently, he was part of the co-founding team at InsightSquared where he spent seven years as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO). Prior to that, Stevenson founded 80concepts, where he was the head of web software development, and Groovr.com, where he served as vice president of engineering. He started his career at Akamai as a technical lead. He remains an advisor at InsightSquared.
“The opportunity to join Catalant as its first CIO was one that I could not refuse,” said Stevenson. “I’ve known the team at Catalant for quite some time and have tremendous respect, as a founder myself, for the work that they’re doing and the success that they’ve had to date. I’m looking forward to helping them further develop their IT infrastructure to meet the current and future needs of the business.”
Catalant recently named Dave Walsh as its first CRO and Shirley Paley as its first general counsel. The company rebranded in July of 2016 on the heels of a $22M Series C financing round led by General Catalyst Partners. The rebrand reflects the company’s commitment to redefining how enterprises access top talent to solve critical challenges. To learn more about Catalant and its services, visit gocatalant.com.
