2016 marks 30 years of ingenuity in America
BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, June 29, 2016 – EY today announced that HourlyNerd co-‐ founders Rob Biederman, Pat Petitti, and Peter Maglathlin, have received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2016 Award in the Emerging Company category in New England. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award program. The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Biederman, Petitti and Maglathlin were selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala event at the Marriott Copley Place on June 23, 2016.
“Our founding team is thrilled to be the recipient of the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® Emerging Company award for New England,” said Rob Biederman, co-‐founder and co-‐ CEO, HourlyNerd. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our 65 employees and our network of 25,000 freelance business experts around the world.
Each and every one of them has helped our company grow into what it is today and we’re so excited to see what the future holds for HourlyNerd.”
“When we founded HourlyNerd three years ago, it was our mission to change the way that companies access and engage talent,” added Pat Petitti, co-‐founder and co-‐CEO, HourlyNerd. “To be recognized by EY as the Emerging Company in New England is a validation of that mission and what we’re creating here at HourlyNerd.”
Since 1986, EY has honored entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, spirit of innovation and discipline have propelled their companies’ success, invigorated their industries, and benefited their communities.
