Catalant Named One of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America”
Catalant Technologies was recognized as one of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” through Entrepreneur Magazine's study of private companies.
Catalant — which enables organizations to use business agility to their advantage through the support of independent and highly-skilled talent — was recognized as one of the “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” by Entrepreneur magazine’s Entrepreneur360™ List — a premier study delivering the most comprehensive analysis of private companies in America.
Based on this study forged by Entrepreneur, Catalant is recognized as a well-rounded company that has mastered a balance of impact, innovation, growth, leadership, and value.
“This recognition from one of America’s leading business publications truly validates Catalant’s mission and entrepreneurial spirit,” says Rob Biederman, co-founder of Catalant Technologies. “Since we founded the firm, Catalant has been committed to offering companies the tools to transition to an agile operating model to increase the speed of business and keep up with the demands of the modern workforce. We look forward to continuing to build the Catalant platform further in 2019 to benefit our customers.”
“Our annual evaluation of vetted data offers a 360-degree analysis of top privately held companies across a multitude of industries,” explains Jason Feifer, editor-in-chief of Entrepreneur Magazine. “They are deemed successful not only by revenue numbers but by how well-rounded they are. The companies that make the list have pushed boundaries with their innovative ideas, fostered strong company cultures, impacted their communities for the better, and increased their brand awareness.”

Honorees were identified based on the results of a comprehensive study of independently owned companies, using a proprietary algorithm and other advanced analytics. The algorithm was built on a balanced scorecard designed to measure five metrics reflecting major pillars of entrepreneurship—innovation, growth, leadership, impact, and business valuation.
The announcement follows a year of expansion and growth, with the company opening a new international hub in London and expanding via a partnership in Japan. Catalant’s year of growth has been impressive, and one of the reasons it was included among the top 360 companies in America, having accelerated its revenue from $50 million to a current annual run rate of $100 million. The company counts over 30% of the Fortune 100 customers, including Unilever, Shell, and GE.
